Geotechnical monitoring and inspection of buildings and structures are processes aimed at assessing the condition of soils and structures throughout the entire life cycle of a construction project. The purpose of these measures is to ensure the safety, durability and reliability of buildings and structures, as well as the timely identification and elimination of potential problems.

Geomonitoring of buildings and structures

Geotechnical monitoring must be carried out in the process of performing the following main tasks:

  • in the process of arrangement, pile foundations, which are located near existing facilities;
  • if there is settlement of buildings in the construction area
    for structures and structures located in seismically hazardous areas;
  • when digging deep pits;
  • if it is necessary to measure the movements of retaining walls and surrounding structures;
  • during the construction of tunnels (observations are carried out both in the tunnel and on the surface above it).

Structural condition assessment

Safety criteria for the use of existing buildings require an assessment of their technical condition. As an experienced company, using, among others, inspection cameras, 3D laser scanning and advanced inspection techniques, we carry out specialized technical inspections for:

  • industrial building structures;
  • structures and civil engineering facilities;
  • various underground structures, including infrastructure,
  • general construction, as well as historical buildings,
  • lifting mechanisms of underground mining enterprises,
  • pits and large-scale underground workshops.

Our company brings together highly qualified specialists, graduates of leading specialized Russian universities – the Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography (MIIGAiK) and the State University of Land Management (GUZ). Geotechnical monitoring of building structures

All large facilities, including production workshops, logistics centers, as well as communication infrastructure facilities in the form of bridges, viaducts or overpasses, have various designs on which the safety of their users primarily depends.

For continuous monitoring, we use a special system consisting of installing special sensors in vulnerable areas, the task of which is to transmit data to the central unit. By analyzing historical information about the operation of the structure, the system warns the user of possible dangers. Using geotechnical monitoring of an object, it is possible to quickly apply appropriate technological solutions to eliminate damage to existing objects caused by external factors.
